Entertainment Intern: As an Entertainment Ambassador, you’ll bring stories and characters to life using playful expressions, exaggerated movement, and joyful, kid‑centered energy that keeps young guests smiling and engaged. | In this position you will learn and put into practice the essential functions of the Entertainment Ambassador Role (Shows/Performances include: Yoga Tails, Costume Character Appearances, Arts & Crafts, Competitive Games, Master Magi Ceremony, Adventures of the Great Wolf Pack Story Time, Hustle & Howl and Jammie Jamboree Family Dance Parties, and Seasonal Shows) | All participants will be expected to perform and speak in front of large crowds, but will be trained on best practices for performances. | Once all shows have been trained and accomplished, you will gain an understanding of the overall leadership for the entertainment department and all “behind-the-scenes” activities/operations. The focus will be the day-to-day entertainment operation, on and off-stage training, show/performance evaluations, stage management, recruiting, auditioning, scheduling, general office management skills, and how to properly adjust to unexpected changes in occupancy and staffing levels. You will work side by side with the Entertainment Manager and department leaders to learn these skills and will work toward managing shifts alone, halfway through the program. Participants are expected to be able to perform all scheduled events throughout the entire length of their program.
