Please refer to your DS 7002 training plan that the Gaylord Rockies, your host organization has offered you. This is a training opportunity and not a work program. Your training will help give you hands-on experience in U.S. business practices in your chosen occupational field or field of study. | During your training program while placed at the Gaylord Rockies, participants will have an on-boarding orientation; Restaurant Operations; Restaurant Business Activities; Restaurant Policies and Procedures; and Supervisory Development (TRAINEES ONLY). | For your training, you may rotate within just 1 outlet, or you may rotate within more than 1 outlet in order to learn your skills and knowledge. | Please refer to your specific training plan or contact the training host company or Alliance Abroad to clarify if your training will be in 1 outlet or multiple outlets. | Food and Beverage rotational includes: | A food and beverage intern/trainee trains in a restaurant, bar, or similar hospitality setting. Their duties are to train with other staff members to prep everything for service and ensure that service meets company standards. They may also present food and beverage options to guests and help them make informed choices. | -Prepare the room and the tables for the service. | -Offer a service of a quality. | -Help to present the menus, daily specials, drinks etc. | -Take orders from customers. | -Serve and serve the dishes. Clear the tables if necessary. | -Check and manage stocks of raw materials. | -Optimize the supply chain, if necessary, in particular by | signaling the products arriving out of stock. | -Respect the health and safety rules in force at the | establishment.
