Hospitality Rotational | You will rotate through different hotel operations areas including bistro operation, front office, and rooms division management. | In this position you will be responsible of: | -Directly responsible for overall guest satisfaction during every interaction from confirmed reservation to the guest departure. | -Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude at all times. | -Apply appropriate problem handling method(s) to quickly and efficiently resolve any guest issues. | -Respond to in-house guest requests in a timely manner. | -Develop a thorough knowledge of hotel staff, services, room locations, room rates, amenities, and hotel surroundings | Phases: | 1 – The participant will receive a cross training, introducing them to the various departments including housekeeping, front desk, night audit and food & beverage. The participant may spend more time in one department and learn how specific department relates and coordinates with all other departments. | 2 – – The participant will learn American standards of hotel quality in relation to the Bistro Department. – The participant will learn procedures for the daily operations and the relationship between bistro department and the overall customer service provided at the hotel. – The participant will become part of the front line of customer service in the hotel bistro. – The participant will learn the bistro menu and communicate what we offer to our valued guests. – Learn to keep serving areas stocked with supplies, learn to anticipate and order bistro supply needs. | 3 – – Develop effective leadership skills. – Mastering skills in handling customer complaints – Develop knowledge of the Housekeeping Department SOPs – Learn department safety regulations and procedures. – Learn housekeeping reporting procedures. – Learn inventory and ordering procedures. – Learn cleaning sequences, techniques, and inspection procedures. – Learn department scheduling and monitoring of daily productivity. – Develop an understanding of performance incentives including monitoring, measuring, reporting, and following up on compliance. – Review operation forecasting methods relation through departments and staffing methods and guidelines
